There are about 1,000 public secondary schools in the UK, most of which are day schools and do not have boarding facilities; only about 35 of them provide boarding. At the same time, the school will be divided into three different categories based on admission requirements and academic performance: Grammar, Academy and Comprehensive/Voluntary Aided. There are currently more than 2,000 private schools, more than 800 of which have boarding facilities, and students of any nationality are welcome to apply. Most secondary schools are registered schools approved by the British Ministry of Education and the British Council, and are supervised by HMC (The Headmasters’ and Headmistresses’ Conference) to ensure the educational quality of each institution.

The UK implements six years of primary school (Classes 1 to 6), five years of secondary school (Classes 7 to 11) and two years of preparatory education (Classes 12). to Class 13). After completing Class 11, students must take the British General Certificate Examination (GCSE). After completing the preparatory course, they must apply for the Advanced Certificate Examination (GCE A-Level). Then, depending on the GCE A-Level results, they can apply for the university of their choice or other higher education. Academy.
