Poland has seen a scandal over selling 250,000 Schengen visas to immigrants from Asia and Africa. European Interior Commissioner Boris Johnson (Ylva Johansson) earlier sent a letter to Polish Foreign Minister Rao Wu (Zbigniew Rau) to limit an explanation by October 3.

The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (Frankfurter Allgemeiner) reported that Johnson's letter to the Polish authorities clarified the number of visa holders who have been expelled? How many people are in hiding? How many people commit crimes in the other EU countries? There are 11 questions: whether Poland can identify fraudulent visa issuance cases and what measures have been taken to "protect the future of the common Schengen system from fraud and bribery".

The commissioner pointed out to Poland's ruling law and justice party that the actions of the Polish authorities could mean violating EU law, especially EU visa regulations. She wants to take all necessary steps to clarify the matter immediately.

Poland is approaching for general elections. The ruling law and justice party, which has long on anti-immigration policies, followed a scandal involving government officials selling Schengen visas to immigrants in Asia and Africa, adding to the election.
