The Republic of Suriname, commonly known as Suriname, is a sovereign country located in the northern part of South America, bounded by the Atlantic Ocean to the north, Brazil to the south, French Guiana to the east, and Guyana to the west. Suriname mainly has a tropical forest climate, with an average annual temperature of 23-27°C and abundant rainfall. The forest area accounts for about 70% of the country's area.
