Application Procedure
  1. Points System Applicants who meet all the requirements of "Basic Qualifications" apply
  2. Choose to use "Comprehensive Points System" or "Achievements" Assessment will be carried out using a "points system". The "Comprehensive Points System" has five scoring categories, while the "Achievement Points System" has one scoring category. The "Comprehensive Points System" has a minimum passing score.   3. The selection process will be conducted regularly to allocate places to applicants. Applicants with higher scores may not be allocated a spot. The results of each selection will be announced on the Immigration Department’s website.   4. Applicants who are allocated quotas in the selection process are approved in principle The applicant will be issued a "Notice of Approval in Principle". The Talent Access Program is not available to nationals of Afghanistan, Cuba, Laos, North Korea, Nepal and Vietnam

Application conditions


Category A applicants:

Category C application:

  • Category C applications are not applicable to those studying full-time locally accredited courses in the Hong Kong SAR Non-local students who have obtained a bachelor's degree

  • Non-local students are those who hold a student visa entry permit issued by the Director of Immigration Persons coming to Hong Kong to study


Remarks:
